「年間150時間」使って何をやっているのか？


年間150時間。ビジネスパーソンは、この時間を何に使っていると思いますか？

実は、勤務中に「探し物」をしている時間なのです（大塚商会調べ）。

書類がない、ピンクの蛍光ペンがない、スティックのりがない、保存したはずのファイルがパソコンから見つけられない、電話を掛けようとしたら連絡票がない……生産性が全くない「探す」という行為に、多くの時間を費やしているのです。

1日8時間労働だとして、約19日分（150時間／8時間）。

年間勤務日数が250日だとすると、1日平均36分（150時間×60分／250日）も探し物をしていることになります。

もし探し物に費やす時間を1日平均6分に短縮できたら、毎日30分も残業を短縮することができるのです。

ということで、「探し物」に要するデータを引用してみました。人生で貴重なのは、「お金より時間」と話す方もいます。私はそれに賛同。
